Tempe Bound - Second Day

We woke up at 6:45 a.m. to get to Mesa, AZ by 10 p.m. at the latest. I took the first leg of driving. The other two were pretty tired.

Around 10 a.m. we hit the plains of Denver, mountains and plateaus on both sides. It was a lot easier to drive during the day. We kept a constant speed of 83 mph and decided if any of us got pulled over we would split the cost of the ticket.

After driving a few hours, we stopped at a janky rest stop to stretch our legs.

I noticed that the southern part of Colorado looks almost exactly like all of Nebraska, just more appealing.

We finally got into New Mexico. There were tons of casinos and a lot of pueblo houses. I think the barricades in the middle of the road were even made out of dried mud.

We finally got into Arizona before the sun had set and had a good view from the Sonic we stopped at. I highly recommend the extra long coney dog. The strawberry limeaide was kind of gross.

While driving down the mountains the Prius got over 100 mpg. Not even kidding.

We got to our condo safe. However, there was no jacuzzi and the showers were cold.

I happen to love the strawberry limeade from Sonic. But cherry is the best.
